In October 2009, the Ministry of Science and Technology of China approved the establishment of the National Concrete Machinery Engineering Technology Research Center, relying on Zoomlion Heavy Industry and with Zoomlion Heavy Industry Concrete Machinery Company as the main body. This is the first and only national level engineering technology research center in China's construction machinery industry. After a 3-year establishment period, the center has built 5 major experimental platforms: pumping unit testing, comprehensive testing of mixing machinery, fatigue testing of large overturning force moment arm structure, remote monitoring and guarantee testing, and TDM management of test data; Three major R&D platforms: virtual prototype design and manufacturing, remote collaborative product development, and parallel integrated product development; 1 pilot plant; 13 new products have been developed, including high-strength and high-performance concrete ultra-high pressure pumps, carbon fiber arm series pump trucks that have reached the international leading level, high-speed railway passenger dedicated line CA mortar trucks, multi arm long arm concrete pump trucks, and continuous graded concrete intelligent production lines that have reached the international advanced level; 396 technological improvements; Conducted 149 technological research projects, promoted and applied 143 projects, and achieved a research achievement conversion rate of 96%; Constructed a talent team with strong scientific research capabilities and innovation capabilities; Actively carrying out external exchanges and cooperation, and establishing close industry university research cooperation relationships with 5 universities and research institutes; Undertake 7 government projects, conduct 6 joint research and development with universities, and collaborate with enterprises to develop 24 projects; We have introduced 8 industry technical experts and hired multiple outstanding domestic and foreign scholars to conduct scientific research work at the center, forming a relatively complete management and operation mechanism; Applied for 774 patents, authorized 324, and led the preparation of 15 national and industry standards.
The National Concrete Machinery Engineering Technology Research Center focuses on major key and common technical issues in the development of the concrete machinery industry and field. It conducts research in experimental research and product development platforms, basic technology, engineering design, advanced manufacturing technology, and provides technical services to enterprises in the industry. It has built an information sharing technology innovation platform for the concrete machinery industry that integrates engineering technology research and development, scientific and technological achievement transformation and incubation, standardization and testing, talent training, and information exchange, promoting industry progress.
